RE: DINOSAUR CANCER
There's a major problem with this theory -- the extinctions appear to be
cyclical (on a cosmic scale which is why there was/is a search for a dark star
circling the sun [e.g., the infamous Nemesis "death star"]}. The assumption
that nearby stars are collapsing (and shooting neutrino's) every how many
billion years is a little hard to accept. This theory needs to address the
cyclical nature of the extinctions before it can be taken seriously.
Second major problem: Ok all the dinosaurs got neutrino induced cancer and
died. What killed off everything else? Did everybody get cancer and die?
How were the mammals resistant to cancer (why did they survive when the
dinosaurs died)? And if mammals were so resistant to cancer then, why isn't
homo sapiens (did we lose our immunity when the primates split off from the
rest)? Does bipedalism cause cancer?

Cancer may have killed dinosaurs, scientist says LONDON, Jan 11 (Reuter) -
Cancer caused by particles thrown out by dying stars may have killed off
dinosaurs 65 million years ago, an American scientist said on Thursday. Juan
Collar of the University of South Carolina believes that sub-atomic
particles called neutrinos released from stars collapsing in earth's galaxy
may
have produced a cancer pandemic among dinosaurs.
