New Products from Safari

   I recently mentioned on the list that Safari has redone their Allosaurus.

   I just received the 1996 catalog and these are the changes:

   New Allosaurus.  Not bad.  I bought one at my local store the second I
saw it.  Much much much better than the original.

   New Stegosaurus.  Not bad.  Brown with tiger stripes.  I'll add it to my
personal collection to complement my Battat stegosaurus.  Better than the
original.

   New Maisaurua.  Still has the nest, but the Maisaura is standing outside
the nest, and bending over it.  Orangish hue with tiger stripes.  Much much
much better than the original.  Available March.

   This next one will thrill a few of you.  New to the Carnegie collection
.. drum roll ... Deinosuchus.  Same 1/40th scale, nicely painted, mouth
opened to take a bite.  Looks excellent ... guaranteed to scare the
bejeebers out of people.  Available March.

   New jewelry collection from Safari called Safari Designs of Bel Air, Inc.
They have a set of gold plated, color painted dinosaur tie tacks.  Look nice
in the picture, I don't know much more about them.

   I may have to add some of the Carnegie collection to my store.....
