Jacobson's Organs

Darren, I've just been able to verify which animals have J.O.'s, as per
your list posting yesterday. J.O.'s (formally called vomeronasals) are
found in amphibians, mammals, some reptiles but never in birds. Does this
help? If you require formal references I can send them to you off-list (or
post them here if anyone else is interested).
