I would not be so definative about that if I were you! There are seroious
flaws with the vaunted "Big Bang" theory... too many fudge factors,
constantly changing Hubble Constants etc. However, like the "oscillating
universe" and the "steady state" model, the Big Bang has yet to be
conclusively proved. In fact, intuitatively a steady state model is more
parsimonious than all the others. Granted, Dr. Hoyle should remain
concentrated on things Astro and leave Archie alone.
