Locality: Bogue Chitto prairies, Perry County, Alabama (32.5Â N, 87.4Â W: paleocoordinates 35.1Â N, 59.5Â W) aka: Globidens alabamaensis type locality
Horizon: Mooreville Chalk Formation, Arcola Limestone Member
Age: Late Cretaceous, Middle Campanian (~78.5-78.8 Ma)
Environment: marginal marine chalk
Ecology: aquatic carnivore
