Re: [dinosaur] Looking for Toolebuc ammonites

Hi Greg,

According to Day (1969), the Toolebuc ammonite fauna comprises 'Beudanticeras'Âsp., B. sutherlandi, LabecerasÂspp., AppurdicerasÂspp., and MylocerasÂintermedius. Although he does not illustrate any specimens in this paper, he does in his thesis: https://openresearch-repository.anu.edu.au/handle/1885/140972.

Cook (2012) lists the following ammonite taxa in the Toolebuc: Beudanticeras flindersi, Myloceras spp.,ÂLabeceras spp., Idanoceras, and possibly Worthoceras; he illustratesÂseveral of these in his Figure 4.Â

Cheers,

Steve
