[dinosaur] Herd of ten thousand hadrosaurids

Good day to all list members,

I would like to ask if there are new interpretations and explanations for an (un)natural aggregation of about 10 000 individuals of hadrosaurid _Maiasaura peeblesorum_, buried in Willow Creek anticline? Is it possible from the perspective of paleoecology, that such a large herd could stay in one place for a longer time (like during the nesting season)? Thank you for your thoughts! Tom
