Re: [dinosaur] Placochelys for Greg Paul....

All:

Just my 2 cents on this.

I have had no problems seeing Greg Paul's postings on the DML.

There seems to be an ongoing issue with Greg Paul's messages to the DML. They show up in the DML Archive, but don't seem to post in the email feed that most people get. I don't see them in my email or my spam files.

Archive for last Saturday:

Placochelys

I am looking for a paper that describes the postcrania of Placochelys. Already have the Jaekel 1902 paper and plenty of info on the skull.

Thanks,

One solution to the posting issue might be to sign up for the DML using an additional different free email service such as Gmail. I had to do this  because of email issues with other free email providers. Gmail seems to work pretty reliably. Even so, some of my posts don't show up online or in the DML archive.

A quick check of reference lists seems to indicate that there are no in-depth descriptions of the postcrania of Placochelys in the modern literature, although it is compared to other placodonts (Psephoderma,  Cyamodus, etc.) in various papers.
