[dinosaur] Largest and smallest specimens of T. rex
Good day to all listmembers,
I would like to ask if there is anything new (and when it will be presumably published) about the smallest known T. rex individual on record (MOR 6625; "Chomper")? Did anyone already make more educated and precise estimation of its age and size?
Also, when "Sue" (FMNH PR 2081) mount is currently given additional skeletal parts (gastralia), how will it influence the estimates of its original body volume and its weight? Are we in 10+ tonnes range already?
Thank you, in advance! Tom
