I recently posted a link to a video of a talk by geophysicist Mark Richards:
The last part of talk (about 44 mins in) goes into detail about a site in North Dakota that records what happened about 45 minutes after the impact, when powerful seismic waves (est. magnitude 11) caused seiches in an arm or embayment of the Western Interior Seaway that left deposits containing fossils, including fish with gills clogged with impact glass particles. The "Tanis" site was described at the GSA meeting in 2017 but has not yet been officially published as far as I know (originally planned for Science magazine it appears). Note this item from the abstract: "dinosaur footprints filled with event deposits"--suggesting dinosaurs were present at the instant of impact (unless the prints were old exposed fossil tracks...unlikely, but need more details)
