[dinosaur] grad, postbach, undergrad at Virginia Tech

Join our team at Virginia Tech Paleo! We are currently looking for excited and driven undergraduates, post-bach students, and graduate students (Master's and PhD). Specifically:Â

Applying to college and interested in paleontology? Join our Geoscience Department to be part of our paleo team. We broadly train in geosciences, biology, and global change â all tools you need for paleontology. Undergraduates are involved with our group on Day 1 and can participate in student-lead research projects, attend and present at conferences, and publish papers! Many advance to being invited to participate in our fieldwork and helping design exhibits. We will get you ready for the next step.Â

Not yet ready for graduate school? Need more research experience before deciding on your career path? Did not get into grad school your first time? We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic post-bach students that would like to complete a research project and be a part of our exciting team. This is a rare opportunity among paleo programs!Â

We are always looking for graduate students. We are one of the rare R1 universities that have a Masterâs program focused on paleontology. Our PhD program consists of self-motivated students driving their developing research programs and answering questions from dinosaur paleobiology to preservation of fossils.Â
