One shame about this study is that they were not able to include the earliest
Late Jurassic Juramaia in the analysis. If it is confirmed as a eutherian, than
the fact Eomaia falls out as a non-eutherian is irrelevant: Juramaia pulls the
origins of Eutheria and the eutherian-metatherian split back to the days of
Anchiornis and Guanlong.
