R: Microraptor also ate fish
Indeed,
this reminds me that once, while I was doing wildlife photography I caught a
Grey Wagtail (Motacilla cinerea) picking fries and other tiny fishes both
stranded and even from water surface.

I'm not sure you could argue there are any traits of
Microraptor that make it particularly specialized for piscivory , beyond
what we see in most small generalist carnivores.
