This is correct. It is not possible to accurately determine the curvature
of the actual keratin claw from the bone core despite what some past
studies
have claimed. But that's OK, there are plenty of small short armed &
nonarboreal theropod and modern ground raptors to see how their toe claws
compare
to birds
predatory and otherwise that spend lots of time in trees.
