The Djadokhta and its equivalents were likely lacking in any substantial trees, 
and alvarezsaurids are most definitely known from
these.

To pursue the "carcass-cave" scenario, albeit w/ diffidence: among thevarious formations wherein alvarezsaurids are known, is there acorrelation between the size of the alvarezsaurids found and the largestherbivore found?
