Skull of Tornieria
Dear list,
Whitlock (2011): Inferences of diplodocoid (Sauropoda: Dinosauria) feeding
behavior from snout shape and microwear analysis: Public Library of Science
(PLOS) One, v. 6, issue 4, provides in figure 3 a skull reconstruction of
Tornieria in dorsal view. According to Remes (2006): Revision of the Tendaguru
sauropod dinosaur Tornieria africana and its relevance for sauropod
paleobiogeography: Journal of Vertebrate Paleontology, v. 26, n. 3, only parts
of the skull are preserved. Does anyone know upon which basis this figured
skull is reconstructed?
Thanks, Michael
