Sorta. Some studies have shown wild dog hunting success to be as high as 89%, 
while other studies as low as 39%. However, small samples sizes were found in 
both extremes, and a value around 44% has been pretty frequently reported in 
studies with large number of data points. So, certainly efficient, but not 
markedly so than many other predators.
