With all the media blather about a supposed dinosaur 
skull in an Italian church, howabout a genuine dinosaur 
in a (former) French church? This news item in French 
announces that that most complete skeleton of an 
Allosaurus ever found will be on display in a former 
Jesuit church in Porrentroy in the Jura region of France. 
The Allosaurus (Big Al 2) was dug up by a team from the 
Sauriermuseum in Aathal, Switzerland 
(http://www.sauriermuseum.ch/) in 1996.  Trackways in the 
Jura region suggest that Allosaurus or a close relative 
roamed the region during the Jurassic. 

It's not completely clear to me if the skeleton on 
display is a cast or the real bones, though.
