Additional material on the Sinornthosaurus venom report

One thing I personally find puzzling is that although the 2000 Xu & Wu paper
did point out grooves along the anterior carinae of some Sinornthosaurus
teeth, these are NOT the structures that the new authors are suggesting are
venom grooves.
