China vs. USA

Remember though, the United States has had at least 50 more years of
dinosaur fossil hunting, evaluating and in many cases clumping valid genera
together.
China seems to create a new genera for every find, mostly based on location.
Reexamine some of those finds, nail down though stratigraphic ages and you
might find they do not have quite so many as the United States, now. China
has produced many fantastic finds. However, since China is larger in size
than the United States, they have an advantage. Time will tell.

Good day,
just a short note. According to my personal statistics of dinosaur taxa,
with
the three newly described dinosaur species (_Dongyangosaurus sinensis_,
_Quingxiusaurus youjiangensis_ and _Eomamenchisaurus yuanmousensis_) is
China
finally the most prolific country in the world, when it comes to the number
of
valid dinosaur non-avian genera. If my database is perfectly correct (which
is
not certain) China has now 146 valid non-avian dinosaur genera, while US
just
one less (145). IIRC, this is for the first time in about 130 years US are
not
at the top.
