What about a Pterosaur brain in comparison to avian brains? I remember there was some research that revealed considerable increase in certain areas of the pterosaur brain, but don't recall the specifics.

  I should have referred to the cerebrum, rather than to the cortex itself.
Avian cerebra are rather large, and this may have developed as a function of
increased signal processing and flight manipulation. Correct me if I am wrong?
