Nobody really seems to know (in the news - the researchers ID'd it to species 
but didn't give details). But I'd presume that it was either an _Cypselurus_ or 
a _Cheilopogon_ species, given that it has pectoral and ventral fins converted 
to gliding surfaces, and not just the former like e.g. _Exocoetus_.
