Type Tyrannosaurus' Facelift in Science Illustrated
There's a neat article in the current edition of Science Illustrated on
the remounting of the type specimen of Tyrannosaurus rex at Carnegie.
Oh, and just to make mention of it, I've moved from Monterey CA to
Asheville NC after completing my Master's... which is why I've been
relatively absent from the goings on here at the DML. You should see me
published soon in relation to the work I did on Arctic clouds/surface
energy balance/ice loss. Right now, I'm working in the USAF's
climatology center in downtown Asheville with the folks at the National
Climate Data Center (NOAA). And baring any unforeseen deployment to the
sand box, Kay and I will be at SVP this year. If anyone is interested,
we are planning on making a trip to Carnegie while we are there (I'm
from Youngstown, so Cleveland is my old stomping ground.). So, if
anyone wants to tag along....
