And all the other "flesh and blood" (non-digital-pokery) JP saurians
down to the tiny compys. His contribution to firing and fanning the
public's appreciation of dinosaurs has been enormous. Also his
Terminators, Predators, Aliens, Mechas, Lestat, Edward Scissorhands,
Pumpkinhead and many others. Whatever the merits of the films, they
were graced by some of the most memorable movie beasties of modern
times. A true genius who will be hugely missed. The Winston Effect:
