In what way is any particular climate *better* for dinosaurs? Surely different species of dinosaur were adapted to whatever climate they happened to live in.

A Leaellynasaura wouldn't have considered warm climates to be 'better', any more than a polar bear would (episodes of Lost notwithstanding).
