key points; most relevant to the issue at hand are the
paragraphs from "This precipitation pattern..." to
"...can serve to identify a distinctly tropical
region".
(They cannot identify anything in the Mesozoic of
course, but it makes it easy to understand how, where
and why tropical climates are "made". On a global
scale of course; on a local scale topography is the
key)
