NE Chinese Cretaceous Lake Papers
Hi All -
The newest ish of _Cretaceous Research_ (v. 28, no. 2) is a special
volume entitled "Current Research on Cretaceous Lake Systems in Northeast
China" and edited by Jingeng Sha. The majority of papers in it concern
various aspects of the Jehol Group, though the Daohugou stuff is also
represented, as is the Xiazhuang Formation (gastropods). Of interest to the
list would, I think, be the following papers in the volume:
Palaeomagnetic and 40Ar/39Ar dating constraints on the age of the Jehol
Biota and the duration of deposition of the Sihetun fossil-bearing lake
sediments, northeast China
Pages 171-176
Rixiang Zhu, Yongxin Pan, Ruiping Shi, Qingsong Liu and Daming Li
New evidence for Cretaceous age of the feathered dinosaurs of Liaoning:
zircon U-Pb SHRIMP dating of the Yixian Formation in Sihetun, northeast
China
Pages 177-182
Wei Yang, Shuguang Li and Baoyu Jiang
Preliminary analysis of the depositional environments of the Lower
Cretaceous Yixian Formation in the Sihetun area, western Liaoning, China
Pages 183-193
Baoyu Jiang and Jingeng Sha
A juvenile anuran from the Lower Cretaceous Jiufotang Formation, Liaoning,
China
Pages 235-244
Yuan Wang, Marc E.H. Jones and Susan E. Evans
A new pterosaur (Ctenochasmatidae, Archaeopterodactyloidea) from the Lower
Cretaceous Yixian Formation of China
Pages 245-260
Xiaolin Wang, Alexander W.A. Kellner, Zhonghe Zhou and Diogenes de Almeida
Campos
Osteology of Monjurosuchus splendens (Diapsida: Choristodera) based on a new
specimen from the Lower Cretaceous of western Liaoning, China
Pages 261-271
Ke-Qin Gao and Quanguo Li
A new Psittacosaurus (Dinosauria: Ceratopsia) specimen from the Yixian
Formation of western Liaoning, China: the first pathological psittacosaurid
Pages 272-276
Junchang Lü, Yoshitsugu Kobayashi, Yuong-Nam Lee and Qiang Ji
Of these, the only new taxon erected is the pterosaur: _Gegepterus changi_.
Other papers in the volume deal primarily with insects and other inverts.
