Re: footage of Tyrannosaurus biting into another animal anyone?

While "The Truth about Killer Dinosaurs" was made by the BBC it is not part of the WWD series. "Killer" figures combat between Tyrannosaurus and Triceratops but "Walking" does not - the closest it comes is when an already felled juvenile Triceratops figures as part of a Tyrannosaurus pairs' foreplay.

I understand that the Discovery Channel has the rights to WWD but does this apply to "Killer Dinosaurs"? I can see no mention of it on the Discover Channel website. It may well be available for licensing. Alternatively Dan's suggestion of Tippet's "Prehistoric Beast" is a good one - it's beautifully done though of course its stop motion not CG.

They specifically want to show the mouth as it's biting into another
animal. I already suggested the "Walking with Dinosaurs" episode "The
Truth about Killer Dinosaurs".

She mentions that it's owned by
Discovery Channel and says that they can't use it (I don't know
whether or not that's a blanket statement meaning they can't use
anything from the Discovery Channel). She indicated that the WWD
episode would be perfect if they could use it. She says they do have
a budget for stock footage but don't have time to commission something
new.

Anybody have any other ideas?

Thanks!
