Philip, don't know what you consider a decent explanation. There are five
small dinos chirping in the cage behind me, but then, you did specify
nonflying (grin), as if that probably makes a difference.
Mammals that survived the end Cretaceous extinction were no bigger than my
budgies. Some of these extinction events were not survived by any land
animal more than so big.
