Tenontosaurus imagery
Jerry D. Harris points out that Karen Carr HAS portrayed a
Tenontosaurus not being attacked by a pack of Deinonychus. Following
his link and looking at some of her other (exquisitely detailed)
paintings, though, provides re-assurance on one point: she's not a
weirdo, bucking consensus, being a non-conformist for the sake of it.
One of her other images (I found it by looking at the Mammal section
of her portfolio, since it has a Gobiconodon in the foreground) has a
Tenontosaurus being STALKED by a pair of Deinonychus. Some themes
are too good for an artist to pass up on entirely. ;-)
