Re: The Permian-Triassic Extinction
Dinosaurs in the Permian? I thought the earliest remains (Eoraptor,
Saturnalia, Pisanosaurus, etc.) dated back to 230 Ma or so, and since
Marasuchus, Euparkeria, and early crocodilians don't seem to have existed
prior to the Early Triassic either (to my knowledge at least), I can't find
much of a reason to assume that dinosaurs existed earlier.
