Easier said than done, I would say. ;-)

As Mike said, I doubt the forelimbs of tyrannosaurids would be up to the task.


One thing worth considering is that tyrannosaurids, predators or not,
could steal prey between themselves.

I think we can be pretty sure that tyrannosaurids were predators, not obligate scavengers. (I know there is at least one person that believes otherwise...)
