They're actual people.  The sculpture is in the Fernbank in Atlanta.  I 
spent a good bit of time in Hall's two studios in Toronto (actually 
Mississauga) the last couple of years, and the stuff there is well worth a 
visit if you're in the Toronto area.  Tell Hall I said hi.  He's a 
remarkable guy, and super nice.
