It was one of those that pretend to be plain text but lack line breaks (a 
problem on the sending end... I guess it probably can't be changed without 
switching to another e-mail program, though I have no idea). I _always_ get 
these fine, and many other people _always_ get the "truncated" message 
instead (for completely unfathomable reasons).
