Theropod teeth: Exfoliation damage vs. stomach acid damage
I put up a few pics of exfoliation damage to theropod teeth (caused by
modern freeze-thaw cycles while the fossil was exposed to the
atmosphere).

Some field paleos confuse exfoliation damage and stomach acid etching
damage caused by the theropod ingesting its own teeth while feeding. If
anyone has a good pic of stomach acid damage to a theropod tooth, I would
appreciate receiving a copy.
