RE: The Carnegie T. rex welcomes visitors to Pittsburgh... :-)
The dinosaur at the Pittsburgh airport is a copy of the Kathy Wankel T.
rex from Bozeman, not a copy of our T. rex. It was mounted about five
years ago and was here at the Carnegie on display for several years. It
has spent the remaining time, I think three years, at the Airport and
will remain there welcoming visitors to Pittsburgh. I know who
supervised the mounting but can't call it to mind at the moment. I will
search through my papers and find that out as soon as I can.

Matt Lamanna is the Curator of Dinosaurs at the Carnegie Museum I assume
it was he who supervised the installation of the specimen.
