In a similar vein Phil is also a contributor to "Kong Unbound: The 
cultural impact, pop myths, and scientific plausibility of a 
cinematic legend". His contribution entitled "Kong Long to King Kong" 
examines the accuracy of Kong's depiction of dinosaurs and how it 
reflected the then understanding of them. Phil also reflects on the 
power of films like Kong and Jurassic Park to influence highly 
entrenched public perceptions of dinosaurs when researchers like 
himself are powerless to do so.
