Isn't defined as a subgroup of Hexapoda?

Hexapoda - Collembola + Pterygota
Insecta - Archeognatha + Pterygota.

It is *used* as such, but is it *defined* as such? (I honestly don't know, but would assume not until I heard otherwise.) -- T. Michael Keesey The Dinosauricon: http://dino.lm.com Parry & Carney: http://parryandcarney.com
