Mylodontidae
Isn't one of the two extant sloths a strangely dwarfed mylodontid?

To answer my own question, the two-toed sloth or ai-ai (*Choloepus hoffmanni*) is a strangely dwarfed megalonychid.

I am told that Livezey (sorry for misspelling him) and Zusi have finished their manuscript and expect to have it published next year. We can thus continue to W4tP. :-)
