Some more information on troodontids would be appreciated.
Given that just about everything once referred to Bahariasaurus has been
reassigned to Deltadromeus and upon further examination of what's left, only
1 character serves to separate the two, I feel fairly comfortable sinking
Deltadromeus into Bahariasaurus.
As for my placing Archaeopteryx among Microraptor and its kin, it seems that
according to this site (http://www.ucalgary.ca/~longrich/archaeopteryx.html)
the Berlin specemin originally did have feathers preserved on the hindlimbs,
but those impressions were removed during the preparation process. However,
there are so many different proposed phylogenies this close to Aves that
it's hard to make sense of it all. As for the other birds, the problem
intensified so much that I had to stop there. Feedback would be much
appreciated
I'll probably post Sauropodomorpha tomorrow sometime.
