enamel grooves/ridges
Dear DML members,
I have listed some theropod taxa with grooves or ridges in their teeth. If
someone could tell me if this list is complete or correct, I would pretty
appreciate it.
1) Grooves
*Ceratosaurus* rostral teeth
*Masiakasaurus* rostral teeth (Sampson et al., 2001; Carrano et al., 2002)
2) Ridges
*Paronychodon* and *Paronychodon*-like teeth (e.g. Estes, 1964; Currie et
al., 1990; Baszio, 1997; Zinke, 1998; Ryan et al., 2002; Sankey et al.,
2002; Rauhut, 2002)
*Euronychodon* (Antunes & Sigogneau-Russell, 1991)
*Dromaeosaurus* Morphotype A (Sankey et al., 2002)
Spinosaurids (Charig and Milner, 1990, 1997; Martill and Hutt, 1996; Sereno
et al., 1998)
Thank you very much in advance,
Matías Soto
