Re: Steve Alten

I am on a list for great white shark enthusiasts, and they think is book is essentially non-fiction...that, within the deepest recesses of the worlds oceans, there live megalodon sharks. You try to explain to these people the science behind why this just isn't probable, let alone almost certainly impossible, and they simply will not believe it. They've just seen one too many episodes of "Surface"!!

Dear Ian and List,

I thought his book " Meg " , other than the opening T-rex sequence, to
be ludicrous beyond all discription. His plot lines were as far fetched as
any newer Tom Clancy novel, and that's saying alot. I haven't dared read his
newer works, due to health concerns.

Loves a good book Cliff

HI:
I was wondering what people think of the works of dino/sci-fi author
Steve Alten?
