I can't see how. You said your comment was "not germane" to the extinction discussion. So I took it out of that context because I thought you _meant_ it to be taken out of that context. I completely took it out of the extinction debate. I kept the other context you supplied -- that of the question of sauropod lifestyle.


Moving on to a more general and important point
(paraphrasing here)-- "No water bodies deeper than 5-6
m in the entire Morrison Fm."

??? How in the hell do you know that?

Well, it seems to have been a rather dry environment, with playas and the like. Decades ago people thought it must have consisted of swamps and deep lakes, which was not the case according to more recent studies.
