FW: [SCIART] GNSI '06 - paleo short talks
I wish I'd sent this when I had first wanted to. Times flies for me, more
often than not.
Mary says membership in GNSI ( http://www.gnsi.org ) is not required to
present, although I, too, would recommend it as it is a great organization
with an open, supportive community. And what better time than the present?
I'm sad I missed SVP this year. Me and my boyfriend just bought our first
house and it's been eating up what spare funds we had. The bigger the pet,
the harder they are to take care of. ;)
Hi to everyone.

INVITATION TO ALL PALEO ARTISTS:
CALL FOR PALEO SHORT TALKS
The 2006 guild meeting will be hosted by the Geology Department at the
University of Wisconsin, so Julie Kulak has asked me to organize paleo talks
for 2006. Marlene Donnally (Field Museum) and I will be coordinating a full
or half day of paleo talks (depending on the response from our call for
papers). Talks will be 20 minutes max. Please contact Mary Parrish
(parrishm@si.edu) by December 1 (the earlier the better for planning) if
you can participate. Theme session ideas are especially welcome.
Thanks!
Mary
