Unfortunately, John, it's also totally misleading.  It suggests I'm a
descendant of reptiles, and I'm not.  This is my personal family history
we're talking about.  I've nothing against reptiles, but I'm not in the
least reptilian.

none of your evolutionary ancestors were scaled egg-layers?

you're also (I presume) not in the least fish...yet you'd agree that land vertabrates all evolved from fish, right?
