Question about yesterday's prehistoric programs on Discovery

I caught a few minutes of one of the Walking with
Dinosaurs episodes (the one with T-Rex) and noticed
that it was not a 100% re-hash but had occasional
commentary inserted featuring paleontologists such as
the good Dr. Holtz and others.
Does anybody know if these segments were made
specifically for this version of the series or if they
were borrowed from previous documentaries?
