I find it hard to image that any animal could just feed on water. Even
prisoners are given bread ;-)
I assume you mean feed on water plants. It is possible, although
probably not its excusive diet. I don't know about this snails
associated with skeleton specimen.

Hi everyone....
As I am one of the non-pros here on the list, I hope this question
doesn't seem to naive to ask.
Has anyone ever written a paper on the possibility of the
Stegosaurs being a possible water feeder? I have recently read a paper
on the Stegosaur plates being akin to the Crocodilian scutes. I have
also heard of a dig that had small snails inside of the inflated rib
cage. The snails were also found along the neck vertbrae leading to the
main organ area. Just a thought.....Thanks in advance for any
replies...
