Re: Phobetor/Phobetopter?
So, what is the deal behind Phobetor and "Phobetopter?" Apparently there
has been a replacement name given in Bakhurina, 1986, but I have not
been able to find it. In some recent papers (most in "Evolution and
Palaeobiology of Pterosaurs, edited by Buffetaut, E., and Mazin, J.-M.,
2003") "Phobetopter" appears instead of Phobetor. Is this just a
misspelling, or is there something more to this name?
