Columbian mammoth runs amuck in Silicon Valley

Just a note that the skeletal remains of a Columbian mammoth have been found 
adjacent to the Guadalupe River in San Jose, CA.  Environmentalist Roger 
Castillo spotted the first large bone earlier this week.  UC Berkeley 
paleontologist Mark Goodwin is doing the main recovery of the bones.
