OK, then...how come no feral ostriches or emus in the US?

  Are farmed Emus domesticated? 
  And if so, what changes must take place to make a wild animal
domesticated? Is it just behavior, genetic divergence or a combination of
both? As I have just been through 3 dictionaries for the definition it has
